In 20 years I have never used email marketing lists, never sent unsolicited email, never spent a penny on google advertising and never made a cold call. I’m too freaking busy!
While I’m pleased that from May 25th 2018 the ICO has real teeth to punish those misusing personal data, they’re using a steam roller to crack a nut. They’re crushing small and medium enterprises. But what’s really going to f**k me off is that very few of my competitors will bother being GDPR compliant, or ensure their client websites are GDPR compliant.

ENQUIRERS: If you have completed a contact form on the contact page in the last 30 days, you can request a copy of the contact information you provided me, you can request that I change the contact information you provided me and you can request that I delete the contact information you provided me. Please note that this automatically deleted 30 days from the date you used the contact form.
CLIENTS: If you have an optional client account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Your can request that I change the personal data I hold on you. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How I protect your data
I protect your data using a secure cloud based data storage service. Paper copies of invoices are store in a locked cabinet.

In the event of a Data Breach I will notify you with 48 hours and the ICO with 72 hours.
